7th Annual Passport Weekend

May 16 - 17, 2009 ♦ 11:00am

$30.00 per person

Join us for this annual event featuring wines from exceptional local wineries including:  Alicats Winery, Sterling and BV of Blossom Hill Winery, Calera Wine Company, DeRose Vineyard, Diageo Chateau and Estate, and Pietra Santa Winery.

  • Purchase tickets from any participating winery or ticket locations

  • Start your tour at any winery along the tasting trail and receive a complimentary wine glass

  • Visit all the wineries in one day or take the whole weekend ~ your choice!

Attend the Guerra Concert Series

Join the experience of music, food, and drink at our new countryside amphitheater.  Listen to the sounds of area bands in a spectacular setting.  Try the best in BBQ sandwiches and assorted appetizers.  Lots of favorite passport wines will be available for purchase, along with other beverages.  Use your passport to cap off a day of tasting with an evening of great entertainment at Guerra Cellars located at 500 John Smith Road in Hollister (click here for directions).  The gate opens at 4:00 pm on Saturday and entertainment will begin at 5:30 pm.  For more information about this and other events, visit Guerra Cellars's web site.

Passport Poster Contest Winner

The San Benito County Winegrower's Association is pleased to announce Crystal Perreira as the winner of this year's Passport Weekend poster contest.  Crystal was born and raised in Hollister and is currently a student at San Benito High School.  Crystal has been drawing and painting her entire life.  her proud parents say that she spent hours coloring and drawing even as a small child.  Crystal would like to become an art major at Biola University and she hopes to make art a part of her career and future.
